Martin MAC One

If you were at LDI 2023, no doubt you saw and/or heard about the Martin MAC One. It created a bit of a buzz.

Martin has been building MAC fixtures since 1996 and the company hit a home run in 2000 with the MAC 2000. Martin followed it up with several industry workhorses, including the MAC Viper range and the MAC Aura range, both of which I still see and use on shows. But the MAC One is a bit different. It’s not a bigger, brighter fixture with more of everything. In fact, it’s pretty simple but very effective. Martin calls it a “beam, wash, and eye candy fixture” with a Fresnel lens, and even that doesn’t cover all the bases.
