ACT Entertainment, a stalwart of the technology that supplies live event production in North America, the UK, and Ireland, has undergone a transformative journey over the past two decades. What founder and former CEO Bob Gordon built as a boutique distributor of cutting-edge lighting control equipment has evolved into a multifaceted entertainment technology company spanning lighting, audio, and video. At the helm of this transition is Ben Saltzman, whose rise from theatre technician to CEO encapsulates the company’s unique industry DNA— technical roots, creative energy, and business acumen learned on the job.
