This intensive one-day course provides a practical understanding of the networking technologies used in live events, motion picture productions, theaters, broadcast, touring, houses of worship, and permanent installations. Topics include Ethernet fundamentals, IP addressing, managed switches, VLANs, multicast, QoS, fiber optics, network redundancy, and troubleshooting, along with an in-depth look at entertainment protocols such as sACN and Art-Net, and other common networked control systems. Through real-world examples and hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to build, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain reliable entertainment networks.
