Inside the company’s strategy, people, and products


GLP North America is reshaping how it serves the people who specify and use its products. That’s the clear message from recent conversations with Brad Schiller, who joined in June as director of lighting technology engagement, and Mark Ravenhill, who has returned to GLP in a new director role focused on global initiatives and, for now, also heading US sales and marketing. The picture that emerges from the conversation is a company focused on designer engagement, education, and new products.

Ravenhill has spent decades in the entertainment lighting industry, serving in senior leadership roles at GLP, including his earlier tenure as president of Los Angeles-based GLP US, where he oversaw all company operations and built deep relationships with designers and specifiers. After a brief departure, he returned as a director of GLP’s German parent company, now focusing on global initiatives, market expansion, and strengthening US sales and marketing.
